The Role
Welo Global is seeking experiencedBurmese (Myanmar) Linguists and Copy Editorsto support an exciting, long-term project with a leading multinational company. This is an ongoingfreelanceandremoteposition. Agencies are welcome to apply to this great opportunity!
Project Details
Location:Remote
Expected Volume:5000+ words per week

Task Type:Translation, Copy-Editing and MTPE

CAT Tool:Client-specific CAT tool (training provided during onboarding)
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency inBurmese (Myanmar)with excellent command ofEnglish
- 2+ yearsof professional translation experience with adegreein Translation, Linguistics, or a related fieldor
- 5+ yearsof professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
- Demonstrated experience translatingEnglish to Burmeseacross a variety of content types, including informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content
- Experience usingCAT tools
- Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced localization environment
- Strong communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback and revisions
